Creating the gloves was an easy task; instead of creating
the design on Zbrush I actually used Maya to create the design. The process I used
was enlarging a duplicated copy of the hands to give off a glove impression
before I would start extruding.
I extruded
out a design to try and break the armour apart so it wasn't a complete piece
instead it would appear to be made out of a few pieces.
I also extruded out the
ways so that it lifted out from the arm to make it more obvious that the
character is wearing gauntlets. Satisfied with the results I then imported the
model back into Zbrush were I smoothed out the hard edges of the model so that
appears more realistic and less edgy.
